When I took the name Katie Grace upon ordination at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in NYC in 2004, I made a commitment to fully cooperate with Grace. My seminarian friends came from a kaleidoscope of diverse backgrounds, but we all shared a common calling: To minister in the spirit of Oneness. We vowed to respect and serve all people while inspiring them to live by the common values held sacred by the world’s traditions. Unburdened by the need to defend any particular religious dogma or to censor ourselves due to clerical constraints, we Interfaith Ministers are free to expand beyond church walls and minister within our communities.
My focus has been on sharing nuggets of wisdom, both ancient and modern, that inspire people to create better outcomes—better self-care, better relationships, better parenting, and an overall alignment with the highest and best they can imagine.
